The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched a conservation-led tender in 2021 to breathe new life into the Golden Mile Complex. The winning consortium, led by Perennial Holdings and Far East Organization, was tasked with preserving the building’s brutalist architecture while enhancing its usability for today’s needs. The outcome is a sensitive restoration of the complex, which will become Singapore’s first large-scale strata-titled development to be conserved, complemented by Aurea’s sleek new tower.

The Golden Mile has been transformed into a vibrant, future-ready commercial hub that retains its distinctive atriums, naturally ventilated interiors, and greenery-lined spaces. Its mixed-use offerings include strata-titled offices, medical suites, retail, and dining spaces. Public areas such as the amphitheatre-style event space and sky gardens at Levels 9 and 18 create community gathering points while encouraging engagement and leisure.
